Under the heat of the sun at a Spanish archeological mission in northern Jordan, local workers dig the land for long hours. The wages are poor and the cost of living is on the rise. Abo Dya, a Palestinian Jordanian, wants to provide a different life for his family, but a criminal record stymies his efforts.

ALEX SARDÁ He has directed the short film Ciutat de Granada 145-147-149, premiered at the London Architecture Film Festival 2021. Hafreiat (2022), with its world premiere at Sheffield DocFest, has passed during its development in the documentary forums of Thessaloniki and San Sebastian. Previously he made two short films, Gang (2020), awarded at FICC 2020 and Fuga (2021), awarded at Malaga. Noteworthy in his career is also the composition of the soundtrack for The longest road to return home by Sergi Perez, and A perro flaco, by Laura Ferres. He is currently developing his second feature film together with 15L Films and Boogaloo Films.
