THE CIRCUIT

Bana is a former motorcycle trafficker who, faced with the dangers of his job, turned to music. Yet he can no longer make ends meet. Séka Séka, the leader of the traffickers, agrees to help him on the condition that Bana undertakes one last journey with the gang, between Nigeria and Cameroon

Arice Siapi. Trained as a lawyer, I chose cinema as my medium of expression. I directed Riskou, which premiered at IDFA in 2008. After directing several short films, I worked on the film series Atchaaba for Cameroonian channels. Currently, I am undertaking my first feature-length documentary project titled The Circuit. Furthermore, I am involved in coordinating training programs focused on cinema initiation and image education in Niger, Cameroon, and Burkina Faso. Since March 2022, I have taken on the responsibility of gathering Central African festivals within the Association of African Film Festivals (AFFA).
