The Whickers develops, funds and supports first time documentary film makers from across the world. It offers mentoring, bursaries and production funds. The Film & TV Funding Award is open to those making first full-length documentaries as Director. Films should be in late development or early production stage at the time of applying. The top award of £100,000 and a £20,000 development grant are announced at Sheffield DocFest.
