A Piece of Peace is an 8-episode series based on the real-life stories of survivors, supporters, and skeptics of the peace process between the Colombian government and the FARC. In each 5-minute chapter we follow a first-person testimony that recounts how the war has affected his personal life and reflects on the real possibilities of peace.

Jacobo Albán. Sociologist by training, educator and communicator by vocation. He studied in Mexico, Canada, Cuba and Venezuela. He has coordinated research processes from the social sciences for communicational production.
Signatory of the peace agreement, a person in the process of reincorporation into civilian life, he spent the last three years in Catatumbo as an educator before returning to his hometown, Cali.

Beltrán Pérez. Living between Spain and Venezuela, he has studied Political Science and American Anthropology. He studied documentary directing at the Instituto del Cine in Madrid.
For the last eight years he has worked in the field of communication as a member of the collective Mecha, participating as animator, editor, producer and co-director in several projects.
