Mexican filmmaker and programmer. Has participated on several fiction and documentary short films as screenwriter, producer, director, DoP and editor; he has also directed and phographed on documentary series and feature films for broadcasters such as Televisa, Canal 22, Once TV México, TV UNAM, Televisión Española, NHK Japan, etc.
He has collaborated with directors such as Inti Cordera, José Luis García Agraz, Juan Carlos Rulfo, Joan López Lloret, Julio López & Boris Mitic, and has also worked on advertising, music videoclips, and web contents.
For a decade he was the Programming Coordinator of the International Documentry Film Festival of Mexico City (DocsMX) where he has had the chance to make over 50 documentary programmes for many festivals and national and international showcases.
Currently he is the Documentary Programming Director of Gudalajara International Film Festival, the oldest film festival in Mexico and one of the most important cinema rendesvouz of Ibero-America, as well as programmer for the FICG Cinematheque and General Coordinator of DocuLab: Documentary Laboratory.
His second feature documentary SPEEDY is in post-production stage and he’s now pre-producing a new documentary feature.
